Named by Mozart as the “Queen” of Instruments, the pipe organ is the oldest keyboard instrument, spanning 2000 years. With advancements in technology, the Electronic (or Digital) organ is now a popular substitute in many churches today. The organ being the ultimate instrument for honing motor coordination, note-reading skills, and an awareness of historical traditions, you will learn solo pieces, liturgical music as well as congregational hymn-leading and accompanying for the 21st century church. For students of ages 13 and up (for pre-teens, see The Young Organist).
