ABOUT US

The Methodist School of Music (MSM) is an agency of The Methodist Church in Singapore. Its Worship Music arm seeks to enhance the quality of worship by nurturing and equipping the body of Christ in the areas of Worship and Music. Its Community Music arm seeks to provide music education in a Christian environment, use music for outreach and to address social concerns, and use music to connect people across generations, backgrounds, culture and language.

MSM is on a journey fueled by a vision of music transforming lives and a mission to connect people to each other and to God through music. This refreshed mission and vision reflects a deep-rooted belief that music is not only a means to worship but has the power to heal, comfort, and unite.

Through strategic collaborations with churches and schools, MSM is enriching music education and creation, broadening its impact to include communities like those with special needs and seniors.

Whether it is faith-witnessing in non-religious settings, faith-in-action in meeting social needs, or faith-expression in worship, MSM hopes to offer life-transforming experiences through music to participants.
