What is so special about Pre-Ballet, Pre-Primary & Primary in Dance programmes?
– develop life skills, increasing confidence and self-esteem, expression, communication and self-motivation;
– improve posture and physical strength;
– develop co-ordination and appreciation of music.
Students as young as 2 & half, start with Pre-Ballet, move through the Pre-Primary & Primary levels, and end at the Graded levels geared toward the syllabi of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), UK.
I. Pre-Ballet
This Curriculum develops and strengthen basic motor skills, musical awareness, expression and creativity.
II. Pre Primary & Primary in Dance
Structured classes develop students’ physical skills, stamina, creativity, expression and musicality
using a range of movements and musical styles.
Students are prepared for a successful transition to ballet class and other dance genres at higher levels under the RAD.
Learning Outcomes
Children will learn to:
* move with increased control, co-ordination and confidence;
* move with an awareness of the body and an understanding of how it moves through space;
* demonstrate a developing sensitivity to music through movement;
* express feelings and emotions through movement.
